Perl Projects

Utilizing perl (Practical Extraction and Reporting Language), you can create some very useful tools and utilities. Some of the items we have created are listed and detailed below:

dynDNS Updater

This utility was written to grab my current IP address from my linksys router, and update my dyndns aliases. I currently run it with the WRT54G. To run this script automatically, I created a scheduled task on my windows machine, set to run on the first of each month at one minute after midnight.
